In order to make a dream tail, first we have to solve some problems that can turn a dream into a nightmare.
Ask any Mer what their number one problem with a silicone tail is and most will tell you that it is, simply how long it takes to get one on!

Our patent pending two piece design makes it possible to put on your tail in under 5 minutes!
Forget about oiling down, gasping, sweating and struggling for 45 minutes or more, and still having wrinkles around your ankels. It's not a pretty sight, and no one wants to be seen going through that!
Our silicone tails stand out from the rest of the pod, and feature a two piece design that makes them much easier to put on. On average 8 times faster to put on than other silicone tails. If you are an expert, then it will be a breeze for you, if you are someone who thought they could never wear a silicone tail because it would be impossible for you to put on, then here is your chance to change all that! The 2nd biggest complaint about wearing a silicone tail is how painful wearing a monofin is, especially for long amounts of time.
Imagine a silicone tail where the foot pockets are the size you choose and so soft and comfortable, you don't ever have to worry about pain and blisters a monofin strap can cause.
This was the hardest problem to solve when designing a dream tail. It took me years and lots of trial and error to find the best solution. Our tails use soft neoprene boots, the same kind used in Scuba diving. They are much more comfortable than hard rubber straps, and much less likely to cause blisters, letting you focus less on pain and more on fun!
As long as we are designing a dream tail, lets not forget about one of the most important parts, the Fluke.

Our flukes are designed with the way YOU swim in mind! The fluke is what gives you power and moves you through the water, but not every Mer is the same, just like not every fish is the same. So I designed our fluke with different styles and needs in mind. Some Mers are made to swim and like the fastest swimmers in the world, like Dolphins, Tuna, Sailfish or Marlins and they need a stiffer fluke with lots of power that works best for long distances and open water.
Some Mers are all beauty and grace and prefer a soft flowing fluke like a betta. Softer flukes don't require as much effort and a softer fluke that flexes easily can be an advantage in a pool setting or where you will be swimming close to children or other people.
Or there are the professional Mers that need the best of both worlds! A beautiful flowing fluke that has power AND that is also easy to pack, then our mid-range fluke is perfect for you and...

Our tails can be turned totally inside out to let you access the inside in a way never before possible with a silicone tail!
A Mer tail is an investment of love, time, and money and dedication. It defines you as a Mer-person. You want to keep your tail clean and in excellent shape! The body of our tails can be turned totally inside out, rolled up and easily soaked in a bucket sized container of cleaner. (instead of filling a whole bathtub with cleaning solution). Your tail can then be laid out to dry inside out, this allows the inside to dry FULLY. This prevents mold from growing inside that will make your tail dirty and smelly. Mold also weakens the silicone making it rip and tear easily. (After you are done soaking the body, the foot pockets of your fluke can then also be soaked in the same bucket.)
And if something were to happen to your tail, it is much easier to patch and make repairs when you can examine the entire inside of the body of your tail.

All our tails are designed with 3D sculpted scales!
Base colors are intrinsically added to the silicone so that the color becomes part of the tail and will never flake or scratch off!
Accent colors, ghost colors and stripes are laid over the base color and are covered with a clear coat to protect them from flaking or scratching.
Chameleon colors can be added with additional color shifting layers and clear coated for protection.
Looks might be the first thing you notice about a Mer tail, but as you can see it's not the only thing to consider when deciding on your dream tail.
